Nineteen-year-old Yuki has never had a romantic relationship, let alone with someone who's hearing. While I have many, MANY gripes with the love interest Itsuomi and how he treats Yuki and her deafness, I couldn't help but enjoy the show for its vibes. It's constantly snowing, words are followed by foggy breaths, streets are quiet, everyone is bundled up in scarves. The shōjo genre's strengths, internal monologues and scenes of the mundane, shine very brightly here. (P.S. I am Team Ōshi.)
